Summary: Bill and her friends are moving to a new house and the Doctor helps. When he meets the new landlord, he becomes suspicious, and with good reason. He finds strange lice-like insects have infested the house and a dryad-like woman is stalking the new occupants. And the Doctor decides to visit whatever is in the vault Nardole has been talking to.
Review: I liked the atmosphere of this story. The landlord was a sinister-looking figure and I thought he was a good villain. I’m really curious what’s in the vault, and I hope we get to find out soon.
Overall Review: 10/10
Continuity: The Doctor mentions Harriet Jones, who was Prime Minister during his tenth regeneration. The Eleventh Doctor also had an affinity to Chinese food (The Power of Three). The Doctor mentioned his regeneration and the Time Lords. The Doctor has also met aliens who absorbed people into walls in “Flatline”. This is the second time the Twelfth Doctor has objected to being called a grandfather. The Doctor has met people made of wood before, in “The End of The World” and “The Doctor, the Widow, and the Wardrobe”. Whatever is behind the vault door apparently likes Beethoven’s “Fur Elise”. The Doctor has mentioned that he doesn’t sleep much, if at all.
